January 2026 — BTguru, an Istanbul-based crypto compliance advisory and technology firm specializing in the full lifecycle of digital asset integration, from designing cross-chain interoperability frameworks and tokenized asset platforms, to building compliant crypto custody infrastructures and designing complex crypto compliance frameworks and Global Travel Rule (GTR), the leading provider of Travel Rule messaging and interoperability solutions for Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASPs) and regulated institutions, today announced that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to scale Travel Rule compliance across Türkiye and worldwide.
Under the MoU, the Parties will work to establish a strategic partnership to jointly promote, implement, and operationalize effective Travel Rule protocols across the Turkish and global financial and crypto ecosystems—supporting banks, VASPs, and broader Web3 participants in meeting evolving AML/CFT requirements.

The Parties will jointly promote and implement Travel Rule protocols within the Turkish and global
financial and crypto ecosystem, helping institutions establish robust, scalable, and
regulator-ready operating models.
2. Technology integration
BTguru and GTR will integrate GTR's Travel Rule protocol with BTguru's ChainScreen Crypto
Compliance Suite, offering banks and financial institutions in Türkiye and beyond a turnkey Travel
Rule capability—from policy to process to technology.
3. Regulatory intelligence & monitoring
The Parties will jointly monitor regulatory developments related to Travel Rule and AML
requirements in Türkiye and globally, translating changes into practical implementation guidance
and product enhancements.
4. Advisory & onboarding support
The partnership will provide advisory services and compliance guidance to banks and financial
institutions as they adopt and operationalize Travel Rule protocols—covering risk assessments,
counterparty due diligence, data governance, interoperability, and ongoing monitoring.
5. Training, enablement & best practices
BTguru and GTR will conduct joint training sessions, workshops, and webinars for clients and
partners to raise awareness and deepen implementation know-how. The Parties will share best
practices, technical knowledge, and compliance strategies to strengthen the overall ecosystem.
