(Go Live) VASP/Compliance Verify Fields Settings

GTR provides a way for all VASPs connected to GTR to know each other’s minimum compliance requirements (i.e., PII Verification Support - Support PII Verify Fields). In addition, VASPs indicate which fields can assist with validation (i.e., Required PII Setting).

We provide approximately 70 commonly used verification fields in accordance with the instructions of IVMS and FATF. Please note that these fields are distinguished based on the two roles of Originator and Beneficiary.

PII Verification Support - Support PII Verify Fields

Support PII Verify Fields are fields disclosed to the Initiator VASP, whose subjects can be verified. In other words, the field list can meet the compliance requirements of the Initiator VASP.

To manage this setting, log in to the GTR website and navigate to

[Settings] > [PII Verification Support].

Required PII Setting

Required PII Verify Fields are disclosed to the Initiator VASP to indicate which fields must be included in the PII encrypted information to meet compliance requirements. In other words, the field list is a required item for the Initiator VASP. Failure to fill in these fields may result in an increased frequency of verification failures.

You can see options for Natural Person and Legal Person on the page. We have made a simple distinction, allowing you to choose which fields are required when the user is a Natural Person or a Legal Person.
