Create a Trial / Professional User Account

  • By registering as a Trial Account, you will be required to provide:
    • Company Information:
      • Company Name
      • Company Type
      • Registration Number Type
      • Registration Number
      • Registration Authority
      • Certificate of Incorporation or Registration (upload the copy of the file)
      • Business Address
      • Business (VASP) name
      • Regulatory Status
      • KYC/KYB/AML Policy
    • Business Contact:
      • Business Contact Name
      • Contact Email
      • Mobile Phone Number
  • Once the application is submitted, you should also receive a confirmation email indicating that your account is under review.

Configure 2FA

  • GTR will ask users to set up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) if you haven't when you sign in. You can always skip the process and register the 2FA later, however, some of our services require you to have 2FA registered to continue.
  • Currently, only Google Authenticator is supported. You could get it from Google Play Store or iOS App Store;
  • The 2FA registration page will show up automatically once you sign in.
  • Follow the instructions provided to register your 2FA account using Google Authenticator.
  • Once the Google verification code is confirmed, your 2FA is successfully registered with your account. You will be asked to enter both email verification code and Google verification code each time on sign in or performing sensitive operations, such as creating or deleting API keys.

Reset Password

  • You can reset your password on the Sign In page, by clicking the provided "Forgot Password" hyperlink in the left-bottom corner.
  • Enter the email address you registered with for your GTR account.
  • A verification code will be sent to your email address. Check your mailbox and enter the code from the email you received.
    • Check the junk/spam box or update the allowlist settings if you do not see the email. It comes from no-reply@mg.globaltravelrule.com.
    • If you did not receive the email, click “Resend Code” to request a new verification email. Please make sure that you always use the latest verification code as the old code will expire once the new code is sent.
  • Once the verification passes, you will be requested to provide the new password.
    • The new password has to be unique from the 3 previously used passwords, in order to provide maximum protection for your account.
  • If the account is registered with Two-Factor Authentication, you will be required to complete the Two-Factor Authentication verification as well, in order to provide maximum protection for your account.
  • Once verification is passed, your password is changed successfully and you should also receive a notification via Email from no-reply@mg.globaltravelrule.com.

Review and Approval

Depending on the current workload of submitted requests, it usually takes 2-3 work days to review and process either the Trial user application or the Professional user application.

Add a Developer Account

For technical configuration settings, we suggest adding a Developer Account from your tech team. Both the registered account and the added Developer Account will have access rights to set up the IP Whitelist, Callback URL, and mTLS certificates.

  • Entry point: [My Account] -> [Profile]
  • Flow to Add Developer Account:
    • Press the Edit button to add a Developer Account and Save.
    • An activation email will be sent to the Developer Account.
    • Notify the Developer Account email owner to check their email and complete the account activation within 48 hours.
    • The Developer Account will expire if not activated successfully within 48 hours.
    • Once the Developer Account expires, it will need to be removed and added again.
    • Any changes made by the Developer Account will trigger a notification email to the registered account.

Subscription

  • Entry point: [My Account] -> [Subscription]
  • Subscription Records: All subscription records can be found in the table
  • Travel Rule Requests: You can check the used and remaining travel rule request amounts in each record.
  • Payment Details: Check payment details by clicking payment status at the end of the record in the table.
  • New subscription flow:
    • VASP
      • Click the “New Subscription” button
      • Select the specified version
      • Choose a payment method (Wire Transfer or crypto transaction)
      • Follow the instruction to complete the payment
      • Submit and wait for the GTR team review
      • You will receive an email notification once the payment is confirmed
    • TRSP (Travel Rule Service Provider)
      • Click the “New Subscription” button
      • If there is an existing (previously added) VASP member, select one VASP member from the dropdown list for the - subscription.
      • If you cannot find the VASP member, please go to [My Account] -> [VASP Member] to add/edit your VASP member, then return - to [My Account] -> [Subscription] and click the “New Subscription” button again.
      • Select the specified version
      • Choose a payment method (Wire Transfer or crypto transaction)
      • Follow the instruction to complete the payment
      • Submit and wait for the GTR team review
      • You will receive an email notification once the payment is confirmed
