Register a new GTR Account

Before you register a new account, you should have:

  • You will need a valid business Email address to complete the Account Registration process.
  • You will need details about your company to register as a Trial Account or Professional Account.
  • Additionally, you may need to add Two-Factor Authentication for extra protection on your account.

When you have above info, now you can start to register a new GTR Account:

  • Navigate to the GTR home page.
  • Click Get Started in the top-right corner.
    • Alternatively, you could navigate directly to the Registration page.
  • Enter your email address and password. Read our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy and acknowledge that you have read and agreed to them before submitting your information.
  • You can give consent to subscribe to GTR newsletters, updates, and promotions before submitting your information.
  • A verification code will be sent to your email address. Check your mailbox and enter the code from the email you received.
    • Check the junk/spam box or update the allowlist settings if you do not see the email. It comes from no-reply@mg.globaltravelrule.com.
    • If you cannot receive the email, click “Resend Code” to request a new verification email. Please make sure that you always use the latest verification code as the old code will expire once a new code is sent.
  • Once the code is verified, a success message will be displayed. Click the Account Page button to continue.
  • Additionally, you may be required to set up Google Authentication, you may follow the instructions on the GTR Website or find more information in Configure 2FA.

Complete Onboarding Form

After you finish the registration of a GTR Account, you may subscribe to the Trial Version for free. And now, you will need to complete the Onboarding Form which helps GTR understand your VASP and its status.

Once you've submitted the form, it may take a couple of days for the GTR team to review the information you provided. Upon approval, your account is ready.

Onboarding Form includes 2 sections: Company Info, Business Contacts, and a Security Questionnaire.

You may skip the “Security Questionnaire” section, simply to onboard as a Basic Mode client. You can complete this questionnaire later if you choose to upgrade your VASP account from Basic Mode to Advanced Mode. You may find out more about Basic Mode vs Advanced Mode
