VASP Network Allowlist Management Guide

What is this Feature?​

This feature allows VASP (Virtual Asset Service Provider) accounts to manage bilateral Travel Rule (TR) partnerships.

Through this feature, you can:

  • Control which VASP partners can send TR requests to you (Your Allowlist).
  • Initiate access requests to partners so you can send TR requests to them.

Note: This panel is only visible if your account type is VASP.

Step 1: Access the Network List​

To use this feature, navigate to:

[My Account] > [VASP Network] > [Network List]

Step 2: Add Partners to Your Allowlist (Allowing Them to Send TR Requests to You)​

This operation allows other VASPs to send Travel Rule requests to you.

  1. Find the VASP: Use the search bar on the page to quickly locate the target VASP.
  2. Add to Allowlist: In the VASP's corresponding row, find the "Accept TR requests" column and click the toggle button.
  3. The status will change from "Block" to "Allow."
  4. Result: The VASP is now allowed to send Travel Rule requests to you.

Step 3: Request Access to Send TR Requests (Joining Their Allowlist)​

If you want to actively send a Travel Rule request to a partner VASP:

  1. Find the VASP's row and click the "Request" button in the "Request TR Access" column.
  2. GTR will send a request to the partner VASP, and they will receive an email notification.
  3. Wait for Approval: Once the other party approves, you will be added to their allowlist.
  4. Result: You and the partner VASP can now mutually send Travel Rule requests to each other.

Step 4: Review Incoming Allowlist Requests​

This step is for reviewing requests from other VASPs who wish to be added to your allowlist:

  1. Go to: [My Account] > [VASP Network] > [Allowlist Request]
  2. On this page, you will see a list of VASPs awaiting your approval.
  3. Action: Focus on the "Accept TR request" column:
    1. To approve, click the "Approve" button.
    2. To reject, click the "Reject" button.
  4. Notification: The requesting VASP will receive an email notification of your decision.
