Usage Statistics

The Usage Statistics module provides comprehensive insights into GTR client VASP's Travel Rule request activities. It enables all VASPs to monitor their request volumes, track trends, and analyze Travel Rule validation performance across all GTR solutions.

Navigation Tabs:

The module contains four main analysis views accessible via different tabs:

Request Volume DistributionTravel rule request distribution by counterparty VASPs, jurisdictions, and Out-of-Network message breakdown.
Request Volume TrendHistorical trends of request volume across different GTR solutions over time.
Validation PerformanceSuccess/failure rates, detailed validation failure breakdowns.
Validation TrendLong-term pass rate trends and failure distribution across validation steps.

How to Use:

  1. Navigate to the Usage Statistics menu to access all analytics features.
  2. Select your desired filters:
    • Time Duration: Choose start and end dates for the analysis period
    • Counter VASP(s): Select specific counterparty VASP(s) or view all
    • Jurisdictions: Filter by specific jurisdictions or view all
  3. Click the Search button to generate results
  4. Toggle between Sent requests and Received requests using the checkboxes

Please note:

  • Statistics are updated daily and reflect data with a 1-day delay from real-time Travel Rule requests.
  • When selecting Time Duration, you can query data for up to 12 months from the current date.

Key Capabilities:

  • Monitor request distribution across counterparty VASPs.
  • Track historical trends and patterns.
  • Analyze validation success and failure rates.
  • Identify performance bottlenecks.

Request Volume Distribution​

This tab provides analysis of Travel Rule request distribution across different counterparty VASPs and their jurisdictions.

Key capabilities​

  • Identify your most active counterparty VASPs.
  • Understand geographic distribution of transactions.
  • Monitor Out-of-Network email distribution.

Travel Rule Request View​

  • Total Count: Displays the aggregate number of requests based on selected filters
  • Visual Analytics:
    • Pie chart showing percentage distribution by counterparty VASP
    • Bar chart displaying request amounts per counterparty VASP
    • Detailed list with every counterparty VASP and exact request counts

Out-of-Network Message View​

  • Total Count: Shows Out-of-Network messages sent based on filters
  • Detailed Table: Lists beneficiary VASPs with:

Request Volume Trend​

This tab tracks the evolution of travel rule request count over time across all GTR solutions.

Key capabilities​

  • Identify trends of Travel Rule request volume.
  • Compare adoption rates across different GTR solutions.
  • Detect anomalies in request volume.

The trend chart displays the trend of Travel Rule requests for different GTR solutions:

Validation Performance​

This tab provides detailed examination of the success and failure rates of validation processes with detailed breakdowns.

Key capabilities​

  • Monitor overall validation pass and failure rates.
  • Compare performance across different GTR solutions.
  • Track improvement or degradation over time

Metrics Available​

Passed, Failed and Pending Rate

  • Completed and Passed: successfully validated Travel Rule requests with exact count.
  • Completed and Failed: validation failed Travel rule requests with exact count.
  • Pending: requests awaiting validation completion with exact count.

Passed and Failed Detailed Information

  • Passed with TXID: requests validated with Transaction ID notified to GTR
  • Passed without TXID: requests validated without Transaction ID notified to GTR
  • Failed at Address Verification: Address Verification step failed
  • Failed at TXID Verification: Transaction ID verification step failed
  • Failed at PII Verification: PII verification step failures

Reasons for Passed without TXID

  • ADDRESS_BOOK_VERIFY_PURPOSE: Address book verification purpose flow
  • WITHDRAWAL_PROCESS_DNC: Withdrawal process with Do Not Contact flag
  • UNABLE_PROCESS: System unable to process the request
  • SYSTEM_ISSUE: Technical system errors
  • REJECTED: Request rejected by counterparty
  • UNKNOWN: Unspecified or unidentified reasons

Validation Trend​

This tab monitors validation performance trends over extended periods to identify patterns and optimize your validation workflows.

Key capabilities​

  • Compare seasonal validation performance.
  • Identify which verification step requires optimization.

Metrics Available​

Passed Rate Trend

  • With Transaction ID: track pass rates for requests that the Originator VASP shared TXID with GTR and counterparty.
  • Without Transaction ID: monitor validation success for requests that the Originator VASP didn't share TXID with GTR and counterparty.

Failed Step Analysis

  • Verification Steps Tracked - Standard 2.0 / 3.0:
    • Address Verification: Address Verification failure trends
    • TXID Verification: Transaction ID Verification failure trends
    • PII Verification: PII Verification failure trends
    • PII Exchange: PII exchange failure trends
  • Verification Steps Tracked - Unhosted Wallet:
    • Address Verification: Unhosted Wallet Address Verification failure trends
    • Signature Confirmation: Unhosted Wallet signature validation failure trends
